CRACH FFINNANT – THE BARD

‘Ode to Owain Glyndwr’

He was a prince in shining armour

Riding North and South

Jousting with the Kings of England

Words of justice from his mouth

Owain Glyndwr Owain Glyndwr

As he rode across the land

Our Prince in shining armour

Protector and bold man

Owain Glyndwr Owain Glyndwr

With a hawk upon his arm

A shield upon his shoulder

His visor closed and down

Riding for the Welsh people

Through village and through town

He was a knight in shining armour

He was chivalrous to the core

Protecting dear old Wales

From the sword of the English whore

Owain Glyndwr Owain Glyndwr

With a hawk upon his arm

A shield upon his shoulder

His visor closed and down

Riding for the Welsh people

Through village and through town
